Since the creation of the Division of Adult and Continuing Education in 1994, Judson has continuously found new and innovative ways to help adult students complete their degree. Now known as the Division of Professional Studies, Judson continues to provide career-specific education with the same level of personal support.

Strengthening Rockford since 1999
After a temporary closure for the community’s health and safety during the COVID-19 outbreak, select classes are now open on our Rockford campus, as well as 100% online.
Judson University first opened a Rockford extension campus in 1999, giving busy adults throughout Winnebago County greater access to the career-focused, values-based education available at our original Elgin campus and online. Today, Judson’s commitment to Rockford’s workforce and families remains strong, thanks in large part to our alliance with the YMCA.

Free child care during class
At Judson, we believe education has the power to transform entire families. That’s why our Rockford students enjoy free child care during class.
