How is the master’s in organizational leadership different from the master’s in business administration?


Both the MAOL and MBA prepare you for leadership positions, but the outcomes of each program differ.

Organizational leadership

Learn the theories and practices needed to lead, motivate, persuade, and organize within a business. Your coursework will be focused on people-centric topics like change management, organizational behavior, and ethical leadership.

Business administration

Learn to manage the business side of organizations through skills like data analytics, economics, and marketing.

How long will it take to get my master's degree?

You only have to attend class one night a week or online. Plan on about 15 hours a week working on coursework outside of class. Most students complete this degree within 2 years by following this schedule.
